Not really, because File Explorer has built-in PTP and MTP support and handles cameras, smartphones, etc. as special 'devices', not as part of the file system. Back to my original point: Why not let the customer use the software of the manufacturer of his camera? (That is normally free - as in 'no cost' - software.)
