Hmm. Why do you do that? Because isn't it a sin to
pervert the bible like you're doing here?

I’ll quote from the KJV:

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made
like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and
creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of
their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

God made them gay for your sin of idolatry.

God made them gay.

They practiced idolatry so God made them gay.

And you're an idolater.

And you're guilty of hubris.

And you sinfully pervert the bible.

It has no verification; the original manuscripts of both the Old & New
Testament have been lost, and along the way, texts got changed. How
much or how little is pretty much anyone's guess!

If any...what?

What is your position, as if you have one.

What are you claiming is NOT true because, as you
argue, the bible is not verified?

Be specific. The thread is specific, there is a
context, even if your disorder(s) prevent you
from recognizing it.

What SPECIFICALLY are you arguing AGAINST (or for),
using your meaningless claim that the bible is not
verified?

"THE BIBLE DOESN'T SAY THAT, even though it does,
BECAUSE IT'S NOT VERIFIED so..."

Go on.

Without verification there is no proof that the bible is true.
Without proof, belief in the bible is no more than blind faith.

I believe that when I die I will be sent to a south sea island
populated by beautiful dancing wahines in grass skirts.

My faith in that belief is every bit as valid as your faith that
your bible is true. Do you agree? If not, why not.

How would you explain there being no God when this message was with the
minutes equal to 19? We wanted to do 420 because it is that kind of
message that gets likes, but we invoked the omniscient deity and put the
19 minutes because it's a holiday in the USA (which you would know
nothing about being planted in a field in New Jersey), and it's the
19th, instead of Father's Day? How do you refute such evidence of the
Deity? Simple, you don't. Incapable and not even close to possessing
what is required for the feat. Inconsequential and the verdict is that
your agnosis is a disease. You know what else has that kind of thoughts?
A virus, Mister Onion. It keeps going until it can no longer pursue its
aims. I'm going to put a 45 minutes on this one because that is what
Stonehenge says will wake the Saturn planet.

Your South Sea island belief and Christianity aren't really in the
same category.

If I simply invent a paradise with dancing wahines, I have no historical
documents, no witnesses, no archaeological support, no fulfilled
predictions, and no chain of transmission connecting my claim to real
events.

Christianity, whether one accepts it or not, is based on claims about
people, places, events, and historical figures that can be investigated
and debated. The question isn't whether Christians have faith; it's
whether that faith is based on evidence or completely detached from
evidence.

By your standard, we'd also have to say belief in Julius Caesar,
Socrates, or countless events in ancient history is just "blind faith"
because none of us personally witnessed them.

The real question isn't whether faith is involved. The question is
whether all faith is equally justified. I don't think they are.

Just what unambiguous, unrelated, verifiable and credible

I think Mix's discourse looks like it came from the same
place as his newsreader.

The bible is literature -- some of it doggerel, and some of it
rather interesting. For example, take this bit from Luke 17:

 _ _ _ _ _ _ _
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the
midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were
lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on
us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the
priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a
loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a
Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the
nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this
stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should
come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with
observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of
God is within you.
 _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Tom: Do you believe this to be true? What does it mean to you?

Full disclosure: I refer to the bible on occasion, despite not being
"Christian" according to some people. (I used to say that I am a
"Theodore Parker Christian", but even that made a certain minister
uncomfortable, poor sap.

South Sea islands really exist. Therefore, dancing wahine
paradise must be real!

Just like the gospels.

Faith is belief, in spite of the absense of evidence.
If you have evidence, you don't need faith.

Caesar is documented in eyewitness contemporary records. We
know when he was born, when he died, and what his last words
were.

For Jesus, there are no eyewitness records and we don't
reliably know any of that.

Agree. Comparing of the 2 JCs is a good example.

Okay so you're a retard so I have to point this out:

THAT IS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT!

This is why when I challenged you to identify what exactly
you think you're counting, what position you are gaslighting
yourself into thinking you addressed, you couldn't do that.

Try again.
