Maybe I been working too much with PIC DSS, but no you don't want a person to come with an USB with uncontrolled files, you want to be totally in control why can access a system no matter if that user wouldn't have any access outside their home directory. Most of the big companies I have worked with uses terminals or citrix solutions that allows workers to sit at which ever "desktop" they want and work, also the company will have full access to what files may resident on the disk. Maybe it's more Lennart's current needs, I remember when he said the Linux audio was crap, his pluseaudio made some things simpler, but didn't improve the base of the audio system he criticized. Lets see what needs he has next... I'm not sure he can be hold in a short leach by RedHat/IBM. -- //Aho
