Apple have stolen my ipad Part 2 ============================== I would like to thank the people that have attempted to help me with this issue. I know a lot of you have put in a great deal of effort, and I was attempting to answer each and every poster, but not only was this impossible, I have the added duty of being a tour guide at the moment, as my wife's pen friend of 60+ years, is visiting us from Indiana in the US. For the others that have called me an idiot, thief, liar, raving lunatic, and every thing in between, I now know which responses not to read. Am I guilty of being a Random User? I don't think so. Just a very quick rundown on me. This is the short version. I started in the electronics industry aged 15 in 1959. At age 21 in 1964, I was running my own registered electrical business. I was employed in the Computer Industry by 1976, and arguably purchased Australia's first PC in 1978: http://www.dontronics-shop.com/australias-first-pc.html From 1980 to 1988, I computer generated the 5, 10, and 20 wpm morse code receiving exam for the Australian Department of Communications, but gave this up simply because it was a repetitive, and boring task. Well paid, but repetitive and boring. By 1993, I was the first Australian on-line seller of electronics kits, and registered "Dontronics" in 1995. This meant negotiating with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia regarding on-line sales transactions, as they had no idea what I was talking about. The Australian Tax Office also sent GST (tax) officials around to me in Feb 2000, so that we could write a set of tax rules for sales on the internet, which was introduced in July of 2000. Retired in 2013 aged 70. It was getting a bit much for me, so my daughter Penny now runs Dontronics. ======================================= Some additional facts on my problem. My original Apple User ID is dontronics-my-ipad@me.com. Well it is something along those lines, I have changed it to protect it being used by others. However it does have the word "dontronics" in it. Seeing I have had that business name registration since 1995, how many thieves would use my business name as an Apple ID? Regarding the Becextech receipts: (yes I have a second one now) Both have been masked by me. Address and serial number. The first one is http://www.dontronics.com/masked-receipt.jpg Why is the serial number written on it by hand? Because Apple asked me to do that after I sent it in without a serial number. Several people suggested it was a scam and I was a thief because it was hand written even though I had already stated the answer many times. The second one is http://www.dontronics.com/masked-receipt-2.jpg As you can see it is now from a Hong Kong based Company, and not an Australian company. Got this one this morning. I will try Apple with this one, but I don't hold too much hope. Becextech is an on line Australian supplier: https://becextech.com.au/ and they are selling the whole range of Apple phones and tablets, in fact millions of dollars worth. I can't understand why Apple Australia don't know that they exist. How is a consumer expected to know that this supplier is running a grey market, and why do Apple allow it to happen when it is right under their noses. Apple aren't getting money out of it? Of course not! Becextech have an Australian Business operating number (ABN), an Australian domain web site, has no phone number, and doesn't answer emails, well only if you submit them on their contact page. Apple has accused Becextech of possibly selling stolen goods, so why don't they stop them? Why did they activate my stolen ipad back in 2012? Well, because it had a legitimate serial number that wasn't stolen, that's why! I have told Becextech of Apple's accusations, but it falls on deaf ears. I hope to summarize more of this problem when I can squeeze some more time.
