But no longer. My HTC Desire was a free upgrade from a SonyEricsson
Experia X10 phone - another free upgrade I would rather forget. The
opposite of a smartphone. A stupidphone. Worse that my old w800i.

To be fair, I do pay a little more for 500MB of data which I used nearly
all of last month.

Dire emergency? I browse on my phone all the time (I have plenty of time
at work) and only give it a second thought when it's being crippled by a
poor signal. It's better than browsing with RISC OS. :-(

I also use Twitter and RSS Feeds instead of a newspaper. Better too.
Free. Saves ££s a week. Page three could be a video instead if you want!
:-o

I can store my documents in DropBox and have them available on every
device, except RISC OS. :-(

Different? As in stuck-in-the-mud and resistant-to-change for the sake of
it?

If they are family-run there are bound to be a few technophobe hold-outs
who are convinced that connectivity isn't for them. That they could
eradicate their postal bill and reduce their phone bill obviously hasn't
been explained.

The only post I send these days are 'things' and, um, formal complaints.

That says a lot about your customers. :-)
