Entirely logical. Electronic gadgets have a distressing tendency to get lost, stolen, ceasing to work or somehow 'losing' a stored document. My daughter's Blackberry did the last just today when she tried to show some photographs she'd taken. Lots of photos but not the ones she wanted. Coupling the phone to a computer showed that they were all there but the phone refused to display them. It seemed to know there was something wrong and offered to do a repair but that's a bit lairy until she's done a backup. I always make duplicates, sometimes triplicates, of all documents when I travel - passport, insurance, tickets, addresses & phone numbers, driving licence, anything that might be useful and distribute it in different places plus copies on the web. Experience has shown this be occasionally vital - not often but when it is then there's no substitute! Alan -- Alan Calder, Milton Keynes, UK.
