This is where the Einsteins lived in Pavia Italy:

https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palazzo_Cornazzani

Next door we have this:

"Collegio Universitario Lazzaro Spallanzani - Universita' degli studi di
Pavia"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lazzaro_Spallanzani

Spellanzani was a Jesuit priest, hence we have all reasons to believe,
that college, which is only for males, was a jesuit facility.

This college was litterally next door to the home of the Einsteins.

Here Einstein was mentioned

https://www.edisu.pv.it/index.php?page=collegio-l-spallanzani

Quote

"The Collegio is located in a lovely area of Pavia historic city centre,
right in front of the house where the young Albert Einstein, as a
teenager, spent a couple of years in Pavia."

Now that college was a neighbor to the Einsteins, hence first hand
witnesses about the life of young Albert.

They write on their webpage, that young Albert lived several years in
Pavia (not a few month).

But this would be a positive proof, that Einstein's CV was a fake.

It made no sense, anyhow, that Einstein separated from his family as a
teenager and stayed alone in Munich, later denied his citizenship, went
to his family for a few month and then went to yet another country and
stayed there alone again with a different family.

But that story required, at least, that Einstein didn't go to school in
Italy.

But if he stayed in Italy for a couple of years, as the honorable
Jesuits write, the already tight schedule of Einstein's CV would become
impossible.

For instance he had to go to school in Italy, for what he would need
some knowledge of the Italian language.

But that already would not fit to his CV, because Italian was usually
not taught in German schools in the late 19th century, hence we need
other sources for such a skill.

...

The problem with Einstein CV is, that he stayed alone in Munich, after
his family went to Pavia, while he went to school in Munich, (what is
kind of usual behaviour for a teenager.

After a while he went to Italy and joined his family again, but didn't
go to school there (apparently because he couldn't speak italian).

To overcome this difficulty he went to Switzerland and lived there with
another family in Aargau.

But if he could in fact speak Italian, there would have been no need to
split from his parents and go alone into a different country.

He could have simply stayed there and become an italian.

So, the lack of the ability to speak Italian is mandatory to maintain
the already weak story of Einstein's life.

But if he stayed longer than a few month as a teenager in Italy, he had
to go to school there. And at that time that would require some Italian
skills. But learning foreign languages was not Einstein's talent, as we
can see in his extremely poor English skills after decades in the USA

Btw: the same is also valid for his parents, because they could hardly
start a business in Pavia without the ability to speak with their customers.

Therefore there is a chance, that their CV was also a fake, because the
parents had no obvious connection to Italy neither.

Yes, but not a Swiss.
He opted for Swiss nationality to avoid the German military service.

That is a very strange idea.
Actually Schwyzerdütsch and Alsatian and some southern German dialects
are remnants of a lanuguage originally spoken in those regions.

If the middle region in Charlemagne's division had held
it would have been a national language somewhere,

Yes, and:

"Such a case would be when I face an opponent whose unconditional aim is
to destroy me and my people."

Einstein saw correctly that you cannot remain pacifist

Certainly. Hitler was a great fan of Karl May,
so he he knew all about his fictive Wild West.

Hitler felt that Americans (such as Jefferon and Jackson)
had shown him how things should be done:
create 'lebensraum' by killing off 'inferior' peoples,
(Indians or Slavs) and taking their land,

Hitler was a fan of Henry Ford, who in turn was a fan of Hitler.

But apparently there where a lot of Hitler fans in the USA at that time:

The modern German is an offspring of an old-German, which was a language
widely spoken in Europe.

The Swiss German is actually a relatively modern German, but the Swiss
try to make it more seperate from the German in Germany, while the
Germans in Germany want to unite the German and create a form, which is
called 'high-German' in Germany.

But in fact these are all dialects of the same language, which was
widely spoken throughout Europe in medieaval times.

Because Germany as a country is extremly young (only 150 years) and
composed from a number of tiny kingdoms and dutchies, we have also very
local dialects, that stem from these formerly seperate states.

Now the Swiss, Bavarians and Austrians were more or less the same
people, but united into different nations, they have also different
dialects.

These differences of the dialects between these countries are now
getting greater, while inside the countries they are becoming smaller.

In case of the Swiss this is seeming wanted as kind of expression of
Swiss nationalism, while the Germans in Germany regard Switzerland as
tiny tourist trap, (what is not benefitial for the relations.)

> If the middle region in Charlemagne's division had held
> it would have been a national language somewhere,

Charlemagne ('Karl der Große' in German) was actually French and the
middle region of his empire was the current Germany, while the eastern
part the current Austria (= Österreich => 'Eastern Empire').

But that Frankish Empire is gone too long to have any influence today
(roughly a millenium).

I would think, that Einstein's CV was a fake.

E.g. the only person he mentioned in SRT was his friend Michele Besso,
who was an Italian.

Also his family lived in Pavia and the Jesuit-college next door writes,
he lived there several years, too.

But in this case he would have been italian (or possibly Swiss) from
birth or shortly afterwards and his German history was a fake.

(Possibly he wasn't even Jewish.)

In the USA everything older than the first settlers is regarded as antique.

But in Europe they have a different timespan. People at the same time
were mainly peasants, who could in most cases neither read nor write.

Politics was not their business and they often didn't even notice, if
the local authorities changed due to a won or lost war.

Therefore, the idea of a nation was almost entirely alien to the lower
classes in the rural areas of these countries.

That had changed much later and with the creation of nations like
Austria, Italy, Swiss or Germany. Then came the wish for a national
identity and an associated language. But because farmers stayed, even if
the nation changed, they spoke mainly very local dialects and didn't
care about the high-level language of the nation.

Now these national languages were created as kind of high level
dialects, which were based on the local dialects of the people within
that nation.

And with intensifying the national identity, these 'national-dialects'
were also becomming more pronounced, while the internal differences
vanished.

...

Well, old German was seemingly widely spoke around the globe.

For instance there is a guy, who tries to prove, that the old
Maya-language was a form of old-German.

You mean widely spoken around what is now Germany. You didn't mention
whether you're discussing Old High German (Hochdeutsch) or old Low German.

And there is a guy (actually many of them) who thinks the earth is flat.

Mayan (several variants) is in its own language group, and has about as
much to do with old German as old German has with the Basque language.

If I remember, I'll ask my niece in a few days when I see her. She has a
PhD is linguistics and knows at least the basics for just about any
language on the planet off the top of her head. I'm sure she'll have a

I have justed quoted this guy:

I cannot tell you very much about his theory, but apparently he

Homer lived long after the Trojan war and most likely based his novel on
very old legends.

These old stories could heve been altered over the millenia, when they
were distributed at the camp fires.

So, the myth is not really a historic record and we shouldn't take Homer
too verbatim.

But something happened somewhere, only most likely somewhere else than
where Homer said it happened and at a different time. Possible it wasn't
even a war, no Greeks were involved and no big horse was built.

The remainder could have taken place in England, (which at that time
was located in the Mediterranian Sea.)

That's the craziest idea about Los Alamos ever,
