Predictions are actually difficult. A (pseudo) scientific religion is
actually a possibility, but not particularily likely.

We have now already a phlethora of religions, sects and other believe
systems and practically a multi-cultural society everywhere around the
globe.

This is quite ok and we have no incentive to unify all believe systems
into one.

Such a unification process cannot be had for free, but would cause
unnecessary loss of life in epic proportions.

Therefore it would be a VERY BAD idea to even try to unify the beleive
systems of the world by force.

We already know with certainty, that such a process would cause massive
problems, which are by no means worth the result.

So it is far better to leave it as it is and separate believe, science
and the state.

Then policy makers could manage the state and religion makers could
compete about their 'sheep'.

And, please, do not even try to turn science into a religion. That would
be the worst you could possibly do.
