Und welche Relevanz hat das jetzt für die Frage, welche Prozessoren bei
Smartphones und langfristig Laptops eingesetzt werden? Rein zahlenmäßig
sind x86-Prozessoren für mobile Geräte komplett unbedeutend, wenn man
auch Smartphones einbezieht. Und nachdem Apple auch bei Laptops mit ARM
angefangen hat und Microsoft ebenfalls eigene ARM-Chips entwickelt, wird
auch da der Markt für x86 mittelfristig deutlich einbrechen.

Am Ende wird x86 eben eine Nische sein für Server und Workstations.
