Your dismay here is because you don't have the slightest idea what the
terms you are using means.
Something is satisfiable if there is an interpretation under which it is
true. (A ∧ B) is satisified on an interpretation where A = 'aardvarks
are animals' and B = 'beats are vegetables'. It is not not satisfied on
an interpretation where B = 'Bats are vegetables'. There I'm using
English. From the point of view of logic those two interpretations are
simply {<A true>, <B true>} and {<A true>, <B false>}
So there are *some* interpretations under which is can be satisfied.
That's what 'satisfiable' means.
Proving the theoremhood of a formula involves showing that it follows
from the axioms of the system using the allowed rules of inference. From
a semantic standpoint, this is essentially the same as showing that some
formula is satisfied in *all* interpretations, not just some
interpretations.
