Are you unable to grasp the finer nuances of conversation? What I
completely disagree with isn't that the button could be better, but that
it's worthy of as much consternation as you are displaying.

You can (and do) do whatever you see fit to do. I'm not stopping you. You
just don't have a monopoly on that privilege.

And that's very strange to those of us who found it obvious at first
glance. After all these years using Snow Leopard while the rest of the
world sailed ahead, it's hard to imagine someone being that unfamiliar with
Activity Monitor that something as trivial as the omission of a text label
on a button would throw them a real curve.

That's why you enter part of the name of the process in the search field to
filter out all other processes in the list so nothing jumps around. How
many times have you used Activity Monitor?
