The secret there is "when taught" -- the point of these videos is some sounds take a lot more effort if you have not been. And some sounds you may never be able to learn to make if you did not learn them when young or do not spent a LOT of time working on. From what I have heard, this is very hard to learn if you did not grow up with it: <https://youtu.be/W6WO5XabD-s>. Also have heard Vietnamese is hard to learn for people who are not used to languages which are focused on tone to the degree it (supposedly) is. Full disclosure: I speak neither. :) >>>>>> And then there is this... how English sounds to non-English speakers: >>>>>> >>>>>> <https://youtu.be/-VsmF9m_Nt8> >>>>> >>>>> Sounds like a whole load of English syllables shoved together. I have no issue with my kids being exposed to other's religions... and we talk about such at our house. Many of their friends are quite religious and they talk about religion with their friends... I have no issue with that, either. I *do* have an issue with people pushing their religion. In my 20s I worked at a camp in Pennsylvania where a lot of British worked. After camp I went back home to Las Vegas... and after camp many of the Brits took tours of the US, with Vegas being a common spot to want to go so I had a lot of visitors. The group that stayed the longest was one of five women who were using GreyHound to get across the country and back. They stayed with me for a couple weeks, and during that time we went to visit the Grand Canyon. I got tired on the way there and let one of them drive... which given how tired she was might not have been a great idea: she started driving on the "wrong" side of the road. I started by gently letting her know but she was in her own world... she finally pulled to the right when she could see a car coming directly at us. She was more careful after that. :) >>>>> That brings me onto another annoyance. Still, I prefer what you describe. -- Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity. They cannot use reason to show the message to be wrong so they try to feel somehow superior by attacking the messenger. They cling to their attacks and ignore the message time and time again. <https://youtu.be/H4NW-Cqh308>
