yes, and i mentioned that he could manually play the content directly.

however, that may be more of a pain than it's worth because often the
app ties lots of short snippets together or there's background music
with animations or photos, etc. it could also be a tutorial video or
even a game, where the next video is dependent on which button is
clicked in the app.

the only good solution is to see if there's an update to the player app
or possibly the dvd itself.
