He never did use iTunes until he tried it just recently.

Corse I did, he never used any of ITUNES STORE, MAC APP STORE,
APP STORE, APP STORE FOR APPLE TV, IBOOKS STORE AND APPLE
MUSIC SERVICES ("SERVICES") when he setup the ipad originally.
