Here's some advice The difference between advice and an observation is: Giving advice often implies that you were asked for some in the first place. If you weren't then you need to ask yourself if your advice is wanted. You didn't ask for advice but I'm giving you some anyway as you seem to be having trouble discerning one from the other Making an observation is independent of the immediate context and while context is important it need not be imperative.
