I assume you weren't paying attention when I posted a long list of 
companies using SwiftForth and SwiftX, all of whom employ teams of 
programmers writing Forth for money.

As just one example, GE Digital Energy division has been using Forth in 
several product lines for almost 10 years:

I trained several of their programmers, and they have hired more who 
have been trained internally. The GE multiplexors are used world-wide in 
applications in which good performance and high reliability are 
essential. I assume both GE and their employees make money.

One more: General Dynamics SATCOM technologies has used Forth for 
antenna controllers for nearly 20 years. All Direct-TV uplink antennas 
depend on their controllers, as do a large number of military antennas. 
They also have maintained an evolving team of Forth programmers over the 
years, some of whom we trained and some of whom were trained internally.

In fact, I do not personally make any money from Forth nowadays, since I 
am retired. But FORTH, Inc. is still very much alive, and employs a 
varying number of engineers depending on current requirements.
