I asked the above example to LLM, it says: "...Once the compiler detects UB, it 
is no longer bound by the rules of the C language for that execution path."
I buy what the LLM said to me so far (roughly the same as in the idea you tried
to convey). C is no more an imperative language as I used to thought.

Back to the F3 example above, I can't believe how many programs really check
overflows to prevent UB, a burdensome task?
