Our 'friend' "Arlen" seems to be quite fond of 'scrcpy' (I believe on GitHub). Other pointers I have collected over time are Airdroid/Airmirror, KDE Connect and FoneLab Mirror - Cast phone. I think it's likely it will work using an "auxilliary" MSA, because some other apps also do, but I don't know for sure. No idea about your last question.
