Well, I did have a look at more options. I guess it’s hope that Match still works, or I’m hoping that I can sync everything to the iPad (once I get an appropriate USB cable to plug it into the iMac (if that works). If that’s OK, then I should be fine. Otherwise, I notice that Amazon do a similar trick to Match for the same money (£21.99 a year) to upload your entire collection into their cloud, and match any existing tracks with those already in their store, and allow you to use those. It does mean MP3 rather than AAC, but to be honest, at my age I really can’t hear the difference now, not like I can when I play vinyl anyway :-). Or, there’s Google Music, which does allow the upload for free, but I’d question how long that might last. Perhaps a Plex solution might do it? But apart from that, I absolutely love the iPad already, and can easily see the iMac being retired. Cheers -- Andy H
