Yeah, having replaced the drive in my iMac twice now (well out of 
warranty, one to upgrade to a 3TB HDD, and the currently installed 512GB 
Crucial SSD) I agree too, it's not a job for the faint hearted, or a DIY 
job on a brand new machine.
