Indeed, but sadly, due to the "ohh... shiny object" effect, you'll 
probably not get them to do this.

The demo to the CTO, who ultimately determines if they get paid, goes a 
lot better if the CTO sees a lot of "shiny object" eye candy.  So, 
sadly, these things are probably always going to be around.
