Don't make visual elements change size in response to the mouse being 
over them. It's really distracting.

Also, could the web designer who makes interactive elements run away 
from the mouse pointer please be fired, along with the designer who 
makes selecting a menu item a trial of hand-eye coordination lest the 
menu disappear.
