Perhaps 10% of them - and that's with the minor changes in C11. How many are likely to want to support C2x? Perhaps 10% of those. How many of /those/ are going to prefer unicode characters for attributes, compared to [[ :: and ]] ? Perhaps 1%. Rounding to the nearest fraction of a C compiler vendor, I expect exactly /zero/ will want to support C2x attributes with unicode symbols. Like it or not (and I don't particularly like it), the field is narrowing and the small C compiler vendors are becoming increasingly irrelevant. They will continue to exist for niche cases, such as small 8-bit CISC microcontrollers - which are themselves becoming niche products.
