I think it's the only Apple product that is still easy to make any user-upgrades to ... no doubt Johnny Ives will be removing that in the next case design update. I been opening up electronics boxes for years to do all sorts of things, including opening up "Classic" Macs and our old MacBook, and I would happy enough to open my own 2014 Mac Mini if it needs to be, but not being Apple Authorised I'm extremely wary of doing anything like that with clients' newer Mac computers, even if it already seems to be 100% dead.
