The point is, nymshifter, the extreme energy cosmic ray particles have
several orders of magnitude more energy than what particle accelerators
can produce. The collision of the incoming cosmic ray would have been
with a single nucleus in the air, so all that energy was in one tiny
spot. If there was any risk due to such energetic collisions, the
biggest risk would be from cosmic rays, not ordinary particle accelerators.

I know that is hard for nymshifters to understand, being of such low IQ.
