I saw one last night -- goddam blinding orange lights -- informing us of 
some sort of 'Walkathon" somewhere.  Damn.  Even the Amber Alert things 
are useless -- unless you have an eidetic memory AND can check every 
single license plate you see.

I wonder how many times an Amber Alert has actually resulted in capture.
