If you can keep using the same application, year after year, that seriously cuts down on the revenue stream. I think that's why so many application makers are so happy with Windows. They know their product will often either quit working (or the performance will seriously degrade) when Windows upgrades. -- The more I see of Windows, the more I like Linux.
