Here are your statements:
They do not make sense and have never made sense.
Mathematically "field lines" are utter nonsense.
There is no consistent way you can define these fantasy "lines" from a
field.

How does it follow from them not being physically there that they are utter
nonsense??
Is a conceptual tool that is widely used utter nonsense?
