This is why of course so many textbooks are so good at explaining the field
line representation of vector fields, and as appropriate, how that relates
to equipotential surfaces — because it makes no conceptual or mathematical
sense to Ben. Oh and there’s also all that talk about field fluxes and how
that’s represented in field line diagrams, and theorems about the surface
integrals of these field fluxes, a couple of which for example are
recognizable as Maxwell electrodynamics laws.
