I've that feeling about Lisp. It boils down to familiarity I guess.
In 2000 we had 5 members on the board of the Dutch Forth Chapter.
Everybody except me had developped at least one Forth. Then I started
with ciforth.

You say that because of familiarity with Lisp. I cannot recognize
Lisp features in Python. Let's take memoizing. Python has an
akward syntax for that. It is undoubtedly present in Lisp and
I probably would find that easy to understand and transparent.
