All the SMUDGE words are about dictionary implementation.

DICTIONARY-TRAVERSE exists in Forth 2012 as TRAVERSE-WORDLIST.

IMMEDIATE! is implementation specific, and providing it would break a 
number of existing systems that don't use an IMMEDIATE flag.
