Virenscanner erkennen keine aktuellen Schädlinge, verlieren das Wissen

Ein besseres Konzept ist die konsequente Verriegelung des OS durch eine
harte Admin-Benutzer-Trennung und ein Whitelisting. Da gibt es bei
Windows einiges zu tun. Stefan Kanthak hat sich der Sache mal angenommen
und per Registryeinträge dafür gesorgt, dass so manches, was Windows aus
Kompatibilitätsgründen mit sich schleppt, aber eigentlich nur als
Einfallstor für Schadcode dient, dicht zu machen. So funktioniert danach
nur noch Software, die sich gemäß den MS-Richtlinien 'designed for
Windows' verhält - sich also ins Programme-Verzeichnis installiert und
nichts Ausführbares in %user% ablegt, denn nach Stefans Änderungen
unterbindet Windows den Aufruf ausführbarer Dateien außerhalb von
"Program files". Damit werden auch die Installationsroutinen von
Malware, die beispielsweise von infizierten Webseiten eindringen will
konsequent geblockt. Es ist also unnötig, eine Routine als Malware zu
erkennen, denn eine unbemerkte Installation ist generell nicht mehr möglich.

Stefan hat dabei das Rad nicht neu erfunden, sondern nur die
Empfehlungen von MS für Admins größerer Firmen umgesetzt und ein paar
Eseleien von MS abgeschaltet.

Dazu hat er ein .inf-Script erstellt, dass mit einem Klick alle nötigen
Registry-Einträge erledigt. Genauso einfach wird man die Einträge auch
wieder los, denn die lückenlose Deinstallation geschieht über
Systemsteuerung->"Programme und Funktionen" (dort ganz unten zu finden,
wenn man die Updates einblendet).

Habe ich schon bei mehreren Leuten installiert und funktioniert in der
Regel störungsfrei.

Zur Anleitung und Erklärung erwartet Stefan, dass man die .inf 'liest'
und sich überdies in der MS-knowledge-base schlau macht. 'Menschliche
Komunikation' ist seine Sache nicht...
