I think without any doubt by far the best light beer I ever sampled was 
proper Danish stuff (I think it was Carlesberg, but not the C'berg you 
find in supermarkets and pubs in Britain and the US which is vastly 
inferior). The *genuine* stuff we used to be able to buy on cross-channel 
ferries in the blue and gold coloured tins was just outstanding; in a 
class of its own.
