consider the magnitude of each process, radiation vs convection.

well, look at water vapor, the bands that it absorbes IR and reradiates, 
and sum that up over all the optical/ir bands, it dominates over CO2.

why is water vapor as a greenouse gas that not discussed that much?
1. because there is nothing man can do about it
2. Venus, the dramatic result of a condition of trapped heat, has CO2 as 
its major cause, little water.
