I can't remember, it was over a year ago :-( I seem to remember that I had to beat something into submission, but I can't remember what. Maybe some google setting that allowed manual syncing but didn't require it. Or maybe not. POS. I hate that google wants us to sync everything. The last thing I want to do is clutter up my phone with the ads/spam from the public account that I want to use if using it might put me on a mailing list. I also want to keep ALL my real email on my desktop computer, and google makes it difficult to do that with a pop account, which is what my serious accounts have been ever since gmail started up. I want EVERYTHING separate, but google doesn't see it that way. When Skynet finally becomes sentient, google will be part of it. Maybe all of it. >> even so, I didn't bother to try it again.
