That's what I said - signing the EFTA/EEA treaties forced them
to adjust their laws to EU standards.

Well, they did - but never because they were such "honourable"
people. They just replaced the tyranny of a patronizing "know-
it-all attitude" with a real tyranny of those who own property
and/or superflouos money not required to make a living.

Calling things "socialist" or "communist" does not necessarily
make them socialist or communist according to the *definition*
of those terms - any existing country claiming to be socialist
or communist was (or is!) a dictatureship practising state ca-
pitalism. This applies to the former Soviet Union plus vassals
as well as to the Asian (China, Korea, Vietnam) "Communism".

The redistribution of wealth is the one (and only!) pillar ca-
pitalism is based upon. Whatever you book as profit on the one
side must be the loss of someone else on the other side of the
equation. As can be shown, the chance to book any profit grows
as a function of the wealth you have hoarded. The more you can
bet, the more you will win. It also can be shown that you have
no chance to make any profit, if you have to spend your entire
income for a roof over your head and the food you need to keep
your working power (the only "ware" you can sell) alive.

Putting it all together, "controlled capitalism" as it's prac-
tised in Sweden might be the best compromise we will find...

Okay. The problem is, that I did not get your real point when-
ever I misunderstood something, so errors were multiplied from
one posting to the next.

I suggest to return to *on topic* stuff to prevent myself from
further misunderstandings... ;)

BTW: If I order electronic parts from China, it is less than a
half of the price - including customs dues! - I had to pay for
the same parts if I order them from a German shop. Contradicts
your claim
