Many have recommended HDMI-switches. One way to switch keyboard and 
mouse to the active screen is to use x2x (already installed in Raspbian 
Jessie, see man x2x). I have some examples on:
https://github.com/mobluse/x2x -- X2x Tools using Raspbian on Raspberry Pi
(If you think this repository is useful, please help by adding a star.)

It might be possible to configure x2x so that the inactive computer's 
HDMI is shut off and then the HDMI-switch would automatically show the 
active computer's HDMI-output. I don't know how to do this.
