That IF is misplaced. There can't be iFs once you know a measurement or an 
observation is not physically possible. Often error done in Relativity, 
substituting "predictions" and gedankens to Measurements and Observations. 
It is a game, to make Relativity more plausible.

On the other hand, this thing was not possible in Relativity till 
yesterday. Now it is. (turning gravity into light)
