OK, so here's a problem right off the bat. The math that I used was math
I learned in HIGH SCHOOL. It is not an indication of being a math master
in any shape or form.

The fact that you are unable to follow the math that would be required
of any HIGH SCHOOL graduate validates my earlier comment that you are
intimidated by the math you see in physics books or web pages. So fix
that. Learn some math. Get comfortable with the language of math. What's
stopping you from doing that?

But he DIDN'T do that. If you will follow the actual mathematical
derivation that he did, you will see that he didn't.

And he told you explicitly that you were wrong in your interpretation of
what that site actually says. What it says is what Steve told you: That
the result of a full relativistic treatment ends up with an expansion
where the first term matches the Newtonian result (as it should), even
though Newtonian gravity was never used in the derivation. This is
exactly the same as what I told you. And it is exactly analogous to what
I showed you about kinetic energy where the first term matches the
old-fashioned result, even though I *never* used the classical model to
derive it.

I think it could be worded better, yes. And I have already told you that
it doesn't MATTER where the web site comes from, the web is in general
ALWAYS crappier than a book. So why are you not reading books?

No, it's not an unproven assumption at all. You can MEASURE kinetic
energy directly without assuming either one. Then you see which one of
the two expressions matches what you've just measured. The relativistic
one matches. The one with K=(1/2)mv^2 doesn't match.
