Plasmaforschung, warum nicht. Warum nun plötzlich der Stellarator gegenüber
dem Tokamak Vorteile haben soll, kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Fusionsenergie wird am gleichen scheitern wie die Fissionsenergie.

Zum wirksamen Eingriff in den Kohlenstoffverbrauch müsste man
ca. 5000 Fusionskraftwerke bauen. Das ist weder wirtschaftlich
noch logistisch stemmbar. Zur Zeit kann man nicht mal mehr
Kernkraftwerke bauen. Dazu kommt, dass die Rohstoffe wie Lithium
knapp werden, da sie für anderes verballert werden. Die Problematik
mit radioaktiven Abfällen ist kleiner, bleibt aber. Die Risiken
von Anlagen, welche pro Tag ein Pfund Tritium umsetzen, hat noch
niemand genau durchdacht.
