Das habe ich so nicht in Erinnerung. Die Problem-Cluster waren die mit reiner Netzkommunikation (LAVc) und schlechter Infrastruktur (10Base2; Hubs statt Switches, ...). Bei CI- und DSSI-Clustern (redundante Storage Controller; Platten über mehrere unabhängige Wege von mehreren Servern erreichbar) habe ich solche Probleme nie gesehen. Alle Daten sind natürlich auf den zentralen Platten und die Workstations nutzen ihre lokalen Platten nur selber. -- Stefan
