You're not explaining why you are "hold[ing] my working data in local
variables rather than on the parameter stack". Or even how you might do
that, or need anything beyond the CS-PICK and CS-ROLL words. Variables
aren't stack like, and the control flow stack is straightforward. As
Andrew says, this is baffling.
