Check out GNU ddrsecue. It will get everything it possibly can off the
drive. I've used it many many times to recover the good sectors from
drives with bad sectors. When it encounters a sector it can't read it
will skip over it and move on to the next one instead of aborting.
When used with a log file it's possible for it to resume where it left
off, so you can have it read all the good data, then put the drive in
the freezer, and try again to read all the bad sectors.
