That repo contains a one-line README, a sizable file called
baseline_mod_times.txt that appears to contain some program output,
and a C source file cprog1.c, with the following contents:
#include<stdio.h>
int main()
{
printf("Reading this line implies execution of c source initiated by perl.\n");
return 0;
}
This is a trivial program, of the same complexity as "hello, world".
I'm sure you don't need help with that, and I won't bother commenting
on the code.
Downloading the repo from GitHub is not difficult. I used
git clone https://github.com/TBlazer66/island
but other methods are available, and are documented on github.com
and elsewhere.
Nothing in the repo appears to have anything to do with Perl other
than mentioning it in the output of cprog1. I see no connection
among any of the three files in the repo. Whatever you're trying
to learn, this repo is probably not a good starting point.
