The README references a the book "Intermediate > Perl", which might contain relevant instructions. This is to be a "distribution," and they tell you to write the ass end of it first. Then a person hears about how directories and C compilers are brought to bear, and hence the post. The idioms I'm holding to are those of Gilligan's island, and the castaways need to figure out where they are so that they can get themselves through the ordeal and homeward. Now that juno closes in on jove, I find the extension to exploring the solar system apropos.
