It's the difference between my "life" and my "Life". We all know that
hard drives fail. My "life" is on hard drives. My "Life" has seldom been
affected by natural events (flood in my case affecting my employer).
I don't have earthquake insurance. I don't think a flood will reach my
house. Mount Lassen is quite a ways away, but I could become alarmed if
I dwelled on that sort of stuff. I won't get around to it eventually.
Que sera sera with the angry Earth stuff.
