Neupartitionierung kann problematisch sein.
Ich hatte mal einen PC, da war die erste partition /boot
die zweite swap, die dritte /
Irgendwann wollte SuSE /boot vergrößern,
und dazu wurde swap benötigt.
Ich brauchte dann für Neupartitionierung eine andere Distribution,
da mit SuSE mit der alten Partitionierung
weder update noch Neuinstallation ging.

Das ganze sieht mir abenteuerlich aus.
Auf meinen aktuellen Haupt PC hab ich zuerst (mehrmals) versucht
Debian zu installieren.
Dann Ubuntu.
Ubuntu boot beim booten immer noch debian an.
Dann LMDE ( mag auch keine AMD 6600 )
Dann SuSE.
Beim booten wurden keine anderen Distributionen mehr angeboten.
Außer über BIOS.
Dann kam die Mint Installation
Dann wurden mir beim booten wieder alle angeboten
..
In /boot/efi
gibt es 4 Ordner
BOOT, debian, opensuse und unbuntu.
alle mit grub.cfg und shimx64.efi und weitere Dateien.
Hermann
der das recherchieren, was da richtig sei,
aufgegeben hat.
