Nor against fornication per se, but to protect minor women from predators, however ineffective it might be on that score. Sure, some nuts would like to prevent thee and me from all fornication, some of whom are preachers or lawmen. I liked your examples of purpose, but in the latter one, like moving picks in BB or lacrosse, there has to be contact before a foul is called!
