I'm not aware of anyone objecting to this wording, just a few people wondering about the details of the intention of the wording in this discussion. It's a fine term for such sites as far as I'm concerned, but also a novel one (to me, at least); its invention in this context, where the more obvious "web sites" would have been unambiguous, may (or may not) have had an intent other than simply identifying the things. >> aware, and I had to think briefly to realise what was meant. Agreed, just like most Usenet groups; but for some reason "community" wasn't used with "Usenet groups".
