Es ist beinahe gusseisern robust. Bis auf den NAS File Zugriff der 
Linux-Version, das schafft es genausowenig wie LibreOffice. Warum auch 
immer, denn andere Software kann das ja.

OpenOffice ist jedoch nicht mehr ueber Repositories erreichbar, muss man 
daher von Hand installieren. Es funktioniert bei mir, aber damit ist 
dessen Popularitaet in der Linux-Welt natuerlich weg.

Works 2.0 war eines der robustesten Programme, die ich je benutzt hatte. 
In einem Anfall von Dekadenz habe ich irgendwann Works 6.0 gekauft, dann 
8.0 und 9.0. Damit wurden grafische Praesentationen von Messergebnissen 
bei Meetings einfacher. Das beste daran ist, dass ich die Database File 
von 1989 (MS-Works 1.1) immer noch einlesen konnte. Das nenne ich 
Nachhaltigkeit.

Works laeuft in WINE, aber kommt wie alle anderen Programme in WINE 
nicht an Samba Shares. Das muss ich noch richten und fuer einen 
Anfaenger ist das schwere Kost:
